She sells sea spells by the sea shore..
A Tapestry degree from edinburgh Art college in the 90’s began an Artistic career specialising in mixed media and feltmaking. This led to 18 years of teaching Art in schools whilst keeping up my Art practice and working in the community.
Exhibitions have included galleries in London, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow and many private sales and commissions including Art for Hospitals (Artlink) and sales to buyers in Australia and America.
Recent work has included local exhibitions, St Abbs Old School, Marshall Meadows, and Hotel commissions such as the Hope and anchor in Alnmouth. After ill health slowed me up a little I began to create prints for cards, posters and love photography and decoupage. .
Hand in hand with original Artwork is the product range of beach bags, mugs, cards, small decoupaged pieces and seasonal goods which make great presents.
Life by the sea. Vintage inspired ideas. Scribbles and sparkles.

“Friendly and inclusive, the art group for adults led by Liz Walker has been instrumental in my recovery from my severe stroke. My confidence has improved through working on various art pieces made from a variety of materials and techniques. The social aspect of the group has also offered me great benefits. I look forward to every session and highly recommend this excellent initiative”
